Bangsar's Telawi 3 strip in KL was abuzz recently for the making of hip hop duo Too Phat's video Jezzebelle.
The track, a collaboration with Innuendo, has been climbing the radio charts, particularly on Hitz FM.
The cast, crew and famous faces who will appear on the rap outfit's video, produced by Chilli Pepper Films Sdn Bhd under executive producer Calvyn Siew, had lots of fun despite the long hours. Among those who came by to say hello was rocker Amy, formerly of Search.
Filming was made around the city. Among the celebrities who appeared were Paula Malai Ali, Camelia, Soul Street, RuffEdge, Da Joint, Lo, Juliet The Orange, John's Mistress, Rabbitt, Naughtius Maximus, Ferhad, Vandal of Cryptic Souls from Canada plus the Singapore City Breakers. A special graffitti wall was designed by the OAC graffiti writers.
Model Shahida Yaacob played Jezzebelle in the video.
Too Phat's debut album Whutthadilly was released early this year. Recently, it performed at a charity show, Dance Hysteria, which was organized to raise funds for the Malaysian Thalassaemia Association.
